Dewson Construction purchased the property from 5th generation owner in August 2015 . While a bittersweet transaction for the owner, whose heirs were not interested in retaining the property, they were happy to know that the site was going to be responsibly developed into residences with half of the acreage preserved as open space. The other bidders of the property were looking for a more commercial usage.
The site will be developed into 19 55+ lots on Brindley Way, with 7 additional lots on Kent Road in Westover Hills – connected to each other by a footpath.
